Brynlee's 4th Birthday Party

Brynlee's Birthday Brunch, is how we celebrated this sweetheart's 4th Birthday.

It was such a fun, relaxing, snowy Saturday morning.

Luckily we had home made hot chocolate to keep us warm!

 

 We made popcorn drizzled in chocolate sprinkled with M&M's

for our Birthday guests and wrapped them up in cute fall bags

Donut Birthday Cake, butterscotch monkey bread, egg muffins,

pumpkin chocolate chip mini muffins... YUM!

We had such a fun time... Brynlee enjoyed EVERY minute of it, and that is ALL that matters!



Giving up Toys... for a good cause!

The other day I was telling Brynlee about kids that get little or nothing for Christmas. Brynlee has such a big heart and cares/worries about anything and everyone. She asked several questions about those kids. Then I reminded her that her Birthday is next week and Christmas is coming SOON and if she wanted she could give some of her old toys to these little kids...

 

She decided to help me go through her and Ellie's closets and choose toys, books and stuffed animals that would make mostly little girls happy (we have few boy toys at our house!)

  

 

 She was so happy to tell daddy when he got home from work about the little kids she was going to make really happy.

 

Later that night we were spending time as a family talking about all the blessings we have in our lives. She spoke right up saying she was blessed with so many toys that she even gets to help little kids for Christmas.

 

It made me feel so good inside knowing what an impact this made on my little 3 year old!

She is such a sweetheart, and I am so proud that she is mine!

 

Challenge yourself this Christmas season to realize just how blessed you are and do something good for someone else!
